Tow Yard Trucks
One of the great joys of a long drive is the discovery of a remote tow yard with hidden treasures.  Along  Hi99, tucked behind and around and down, is David Lange's week-end hobby.  His Dad lives on the premises as does a yard watcher.  The lot is filled with mostly Chrysler products and Dodge trucks.  Last month they crushed 65 trucks and sold them for scrap metal; worth more than the various parts they might have salvaged.  They get about $35 just for the copper in the radiators.  Mr. Lange anticipates all the trucks will be gone within two years.
The lot was originally Keto's Garage, a repair shop started in 1945 and closed in the '70s, by Mr. Lange's father in law.  His Son inherited it and works the lot selling parts when he isn't on the road for his job.  Most Dodge truck people know him and contact him directly when they need something.  When they get any foreign cars, they send them down the road to a buddy who in turn, sends Chrysler and Dodge prodcuts to David.

This 1944 Dodge flatbed has been on the lot for about twenty five years.

And this vintage truck is obviously an easy target for sharp shooters.
